I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in New York State.

My work is informed by my personal and professional experience and educational background in social work and public health. I received graduate degrees in Social Work and Public Health from Fordham University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I worked for two years as an Addiction Counselor at St. Vincent’s  Hospital, Westchester, and for three years as a psychotherapist under the supervision of a board-certified addiction psychiatrist.

I also offer accessible, thoughtful, and engaging presentations about the complex and scary topics of substance use and addiction. These can be geared towards parents, teachers, coaches, employers/managers, or anyone struggling to understand the illogical and irrational thinking and behavior that characterizes addiction.
